Beginning Piano Lessons

Piano is in many ways the most important instrument for developing musicians. Through learning piano, a student will develop a stronger musical ear, the ability to read music, and the building blocks of music theory. It is highly recommended that anyone who is interested in music study the basics of piano, regardless of their instrument.

I teach only beginning students, because I am first and foremost a singer. However, I am well equipped to teach beginners, young and old, the fundamentals of what they will need to develop musically as pianists or musicians of other types.
